Works with the client's primary therapist through Child and Adolescent Addictions and Mental Health and Psychiatry Program. The goal is to enhance the provision of treatment, particularly as related to occupational therapy, speech language therapy, and psychology.Provides consultation and possible assessment to enhance treatment to be provided by the primary therapist working with the client and family within the Child and Adolescent Addiction and Mental Health and Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP).

Must be referred to CACS from Child and Adolescent Addictions and Mental Health and Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP) Community Programs.

All contacts start as a consult. Primary therapist needs to call or email a CACS clinician to request a consult. Therapist must be in a community service or clinic in the Child and Adolescent Addiction and Mental Health and Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP) and act as case manager. We may provide consultation to day treatment or inpatient units on a case by case basis. If referral is warranted, CACS clinician will request and provide a referral form.
