Provide assessment, treatment and education related to lung health.This service includes:
monitoring airway health
providing diagnostic testing ( i.e.spirometry assessments, with Respirologist interpretation; blood gases )
supporting rural community clients with life support equipment ( e.g., ventilators )
offers education for patients and their families on asthma, COPD, tobacco reduction
supporting the Alberta Aids to Daily Living home oxygen assessments
also support clients in a home living environment, unable to access outpatient services
