Preschool Oral Health Program

Protect your child's teeth with free fluoride varnish. Start your child early at 12 to 35 months (1 and 2 years).

Provides free fluoride varnish applications for eligible children to protect their teeth from tooth decay (cavities).

Your child needs four fluoride varnish visits, six months apart, to best protect their teeth.

If your child is diagnosed with asthma by a doctor, bring their quick reliever medication to the appointment. Dental anxiety may trigger an asthma attack.

Click here to learn if your child is eligible.

This provincial prevention service is available in all AHS (Alberta Health Services) zones.
