Southern Alberta Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Prevention Program

Provides RSV immunoprophylaxis( palivizumab) to children under 2 years of age considered high risk for severe RSV disease residing in southern Alberta.

Submission of the Risk Assessment form by a health care professional is required to determine a child's eligibility for palivizumab. Risk Assessment forms available on the RSV Prevention Risk Prevention Program website.
