Oyen & District Health Care Foundation

The Health Foundation is committed to improving the quality of healthcare in the Oyen Big Country Hospital and through the local health programs by providing and updating equipment and necessary items unique to the needs of rural medicine.

The Foundation is a volunteer organization representing the large area/district surrounding the Big Country Hospital. Each member is a direct liaison to the area/district they represent and they speak to the variances and diversity of area needs. It is a charitable organization engaged in fundraising to support the ever rising costs of medical equipment. Official tax receipts are issued for all donations. 100% of the funds raised by the Health Foundation remain in the community. None of the donations are used in administration or for fundraising expenses. Donor information remains confidential at all times.
