Central and Northern Alberta Adult Peripheral Nerve Clinic

The Central and Northern Alberta Adult Peripheral Nerve Clinic helps adults with nerve injuries in their arms or legs.

This clinic treats people with nerve injuries that might require surgery. Such as:

  • shoulder injuries
  • upper and lower body injuries
  • and other nerve injuries that may need surgery

Patients see a doctor called a physiatrist for a test called electromyography on their injured nerves. Then, they make an appointment to see a plastic surgeon, neurosurgeon, or bone doctor (orthopedic surgeon). They can also get help at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital for therapy and exercises to improve their health.
