Specialty Program - Chronic Ventilator Program

A chronic respiratory / ventilation program offering a home like environment and specialized care for adults who require chronic ventilation support and or management of their chronic respiratory disease.

The unit provides 24-hour care in a home like environment for individuals who require chronic venitlation support often with the aid of an invasive ventilator or use external equipment such as non-invasive Bi-Pap machines.

Services include:

  • a person centered care approach with individualized care plans designed by the resident, family members, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist support 24 / 7
  • equipment and alarms systems that promote a home like, less institutionalized, residential environment
