Physiotherapy Geriatric Inpatient Services

Offers services for geriatric patients with physical limitations due to disease or injury.

Provides prevention, evaluation and treatment of physical dysfunction resulting secondary to disease, disability or injury. It is based on the science of movement. Assessment by a physical therapist may include examination of posture, strength, flexibility, joint mobility, coordination, balance, cardiopulmonary status, gait, and pain, in addition to the functioning of the client.
