Dr. Jack Regehr became the South Zone Medical Director on May 1, 2016. Dr. Regehr was born in Coutts, Alberta. He completed a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology at the University of Lethbridge. He graduated from the University of Alberta Medical School and went on to practice medicine in rural Alberta. His first practice was in Brooks and he has experience working at various facilities across South Zone.
Past leadership roles in the South Zone included Associate Zone Medical Director – Rural Facilities, and Zone Clinical Department Head at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge.
Dr. Regehr currently resides in Magrath with his wife Jane where they enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, sailing and rock climbing.
