The mission of the Maternal Newborn Child and Youth (MNCY) Strategic Clinical Network™ (SCNTM) is to bring together people, evidence and data to achieve the best possible health outcomes for mothers, newborns, children and families within a sustainable, publicly funded health care system. To facilitate this mission, Alberta Health Services (AHS) value-added funds were provided to be used for research and quality improvement (QI) projects to improve health and clinical care for mothers, infants, children, and youth.
The initial Health Outcomes Improvement Fund I (HOIFI) projects have reached completion. Learn more about the findings.
The MNCY SCN in partnership with AHS Nutrition and Food Services launched a funding call in the summer of 2016 with a focus on improving the health outcomes of Alberta’s mothers, infants and children.
