Fort McMurray public invited to share views about local healthcare delivery

FORT McMURRAY – Local and area residents are invited to share their thoughts on local healthcare delivery and services at a meeting of the Wood Buffalo Health Advisory Council (HAC).

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Redfox Boardroom at Suncor Community Leisure Centre, 1 MacDonald Dr.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) North Zone leadership will provide an update on health services within the zone and a presentation will be made about recruiting and retaining healthcare providers in the zone.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Bring your community’s voice forward to provide input on local and regional health.
  • Provide feedback to AHS regarding healthcare services.
  • Learn about the Wood Buffalo Health Advisory Council.

Public are welcome to attend the entire meeting; an opportunity to engage with council is set for approximately 6 p.m.
