Arthritis Pool Exercise and Education

Provides adults with information about arthritis and physical fitness so they can learn to manage their arthritis symptoms.

Clients include those with arthritis (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis), lupus, post- op hip and knee replacement, and spinal stenosis. Clients must come to both the pool and education classes.

Clients:

  • learn about physical fitness and arthritis so they can improve their quality of life
  • become more fit (more flexible, stronger, and better balance and coordination)
  • learn how to find community resources.
