Service evaluates, diagnoses, and treats children with rheumatic diseases and conditions.

Care for children with rheumatic disease and conditions including:

  • juvenile idiopathic arthritis
  • systemic lupus erythematosus
  • rheumatic fever
  • scleroderma
  • juvenile dermatomyositis
  • ankylosing spodylitis
  • vasculitis

Eligibility

Children age 17 and under are accepted as new patients. Patients are followed until they are accepted by their new adult rheumatologist after their 18th birthday or are discharged from the service.
