Vascular and Interventional Imaging Services

Provides imaging of vascular artery and vein anatomy, by using radiopaque contrast material to make blood vessels visible on x-rays. Also provide Interventional procedures such as vascular stent placement and balloon dilatation.

This service provides highly specialized imaging of vascular arteries and vein anatomy. Procedures require injection of radiopaque contrast material (x-ray dye). Patients usually receive local anaesthetic and/or light sedation during the procedure.
