KidSIM Pediatric Simulation Program

The KidSIM Pediatric Simulation Program based out of the Alberta Children's Hospital works to provide learners surrogate clinical experiences with pediatric patients in as close to a ¿real-life¿ situation as possible through the use of high-fidelity mannequins as well as a teaching space that mimics the clinical setting.

KidSIM offers:

  • education and training for healthcare providers
  • education and training for post-secondary healthcare students
  • education and training for rural providers through mobile education
  • education and support for families and non-clinical care providers
  • simulation and debriefing courses for healthcare providers
  • simulation elective and fellowship

Fees

Fees do not apply for any services. Registration fee may apply for academic simulation courses or agencies external to AHS requiring KidSIM support.
