Child Health Behaviour Clinic

The Behaviour Clinic is committed to helping families with their children's social and emotional development.

The Misericordia Community Hospital's Child Health Behaviour Clinic offers programs and services to help children and their families. The programs offered assist children and families to develop skills that facilitate adaptive responses to challenging behaviours, enhance positive behaviour, and improve family functioning. Services include:

  • physician-based assessment and treatment
  • multi-disciplinary consultation / assessment and intervention
  • individual, family, group and play therapy

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

A phyisician or nurse practicitioner referral to the program is required.
