CRIS Lymphedema Clinic

Provides treatment for non-cancer related lymphedema.

Goals include:

  • To reduce and maintain edema
  • To improve skin health, and reduce infections and wounds
  • To promote long term self-management of lymphedema

Services may include:

  • Education regarding management of lymphedema including: exercise, skin care and compression
  • Treatment with compression wraps
  • Fitttings for compression garments
  • Follow up to ensure maintenance of edema

The Mother Rosalie Health Services Building is the first bldg on the right upon entering the Misericordia Community Hospital grounds from 87th Ave (located east of the public parking lot).

Eligibility

Clients must have:

  • non-cancer related lymphedema; if edema is cancer-related, please refer to the Cross Cancer Institute
  • the ability to comply with treatement recommendations
