The Adult Spasticity Clinic provides assessment and treatment for people who cannot relax their limbs because of involuntary muscle tightness or spasms.

Treats complex patients with spasticity, a muscle tightness that may result from a number of neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, etc.).

Treatments include:

  • oral medication
  • botulinum toxin injections - injection of Botox into specific muscles
