Pediatric Burns Services - Outpatients

This clinic provides treatment and follow-up for children who have sustained a thermal injury (burns or frostbite) and traumatic wounds.

This outpatient clinic treats children who have sustained a thermal injury and will need to be followed long - term. The clinic can also refer clients to plastic surgery service. Clinic is located within the Rehabilitation Clinic at Alberta Children's Hospital on the lower level.

Children ages 0 to 17 years.

Referral Needed

MD referral required.

Service Access

Clinic staff will contact family to book appointments.


Wait Times

Referrals are triaged and booked daily. However, clinic does not operate on the weekends and statutory holidays. Referrals receveid on weekends will triaged on next business day.
