Orthopedic Services - Inpatients

Surgical inpatient unit for patients with musculoskeletal injuries or problems.

A multidisciplinary team provides care for orthopedic patients including:

  • care for orthopedic trauma patients
  • care for total joint replacements
  • care for orthopedic spine patients
  • cancer care for the orthopedic patient

Service Providers May Include
health care aids (HCAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing support staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, physiotherapy aides, registered nurses (RNs), social workers, transition services
Referral Needed

Referrals are not to be made directly to the unit. Patients must be admitted by an orthopedic surgeon or other doctor.
